http://techcrunch.com – Amobee, the mobile ad serving company recently acquired by Asian carrier SingTel, is launching a new ad building product called PULSE Create. Amobee CEO Trevor Healy says the PULSE Create technology comes from the acquisition of AdJitsu. I remember being impressed by the quality and immersiveness of the AdJitsu ads back when the platform was being developed by Cooliris, and with PULSE Create, advertisers should be able to create those impressive 3D ads in a dramatically reduced time frame. When the pan-Asian mobile carrier SingTel paid $321 million to acquire mobile ad platform SingTel in May last year, the thinking was that the Singapore-based SingTel could use Amobee to serve targeted ads to its 480-million mobile subscriber base across the region.

SingTel has announced plans to acquire, for $US321m, US-based Amobee, a provider of mobile advertising services to operators, publishers and advertisers around the world, saying it intends "to become not only the leading mobile advertising company in Asia Pacific, but also among the top three worldwide."

Skype 4.0.0.8-3 not launching 30 weeks 2 days ago

I set up Skype-no-pulse, tested it (without making a call) and everything seemed to work. That was about a month ago. About a week ago I wanted to use it, but it wouldn't launch. I also tried the Skype-pulse version, but that did the same. It would attempt to launch then fail. I was waiting for the systemd update, thinking maybe that would help. But I still have the same problem.

@hybridI'll give that a shot, thanks @AnoknusaNo I'm not running GNOME, but I do have gnome-do installed, maybe that has a dependancy that needs pulse? All I know is that I installed something and pulse came along with it. I have tried to remove it before but there was something that depended on it.

Hello, I am having a odd PulseAudio issue and I've searched for hours and hours. (Like 4 hours) I have found that I can only listen to two-sometimes three apps at a time. Example: At the moment, I have MPD and Youtube playing and I can hear both of them. But pidgin notifications are completely silent, Teamspeak is silent too.
