Amnesia closes when loading

http://askubuntu.com – I have a Thinkpad T410, Ubuntu 12.04 and Humble Bundle V. When I run amnesia it closes when loading. I removed myself from audio group under systemd after reading this advice:Note: Adding your user to several groups (optical, audio, scanner, ...) is not necessary with systemd.

When I try to run some games that used to work or some do but don't give me any sound I get this errorALSA lib ../../src/conf.c:3314:(snd_config_hooks_call) Cannot open shared library libasound_module_conf_pulse.so ALSA lib ../../../src/pcm/pcm.c:2217:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default Couldn't open audio device! Good Morning,

opening a ram stream with RealPlayer, gives the following:

ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1010: (snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave,

and no sound, on 99/100 connections.

Has anybody the same problem? What can I do to solve it?

there is a new problem for me in linux....

i have installed opensuse 11.2, and i downloaded the latest driver of realtek audio from realtek site.. (reason sound wasnt working)
