This tutorial should also work for OpenSUSE 11.1 and 11.2. Its written for 32bit but should be the same for 64bit. The only problem you might have is you need to download the following files which should be in the OSS repo:

AMD has recently dropped support for cards in series HD 2xxx-4xxx. Catalyst drivers for these cards are now available in a different branch, called Legacy series. Legacy drivers won't receive any new feature updates from AMD.
Proprietary fglrx drivers for these legacy cards are not compatible with Quantal.

today I've got an application which is need glibc-2.1 32bit
but my opensuse 11.2 is 64bit.
I've checked the yast but nothing interesting catch my eyes.
is there any solution to install glibc 2.1 32bit on a 64bit box?
