I've installed the FGLRX drivers using a guide from here and am able to now play quake live, yay!
The CPU side of Llano sounds interesting, hopefully AMD will spill the GPU beans soon.
I'm looking for a great linux compatible graphics card at a reasonable price.
I've done my research and found the GeForce 6800 GS to be the most recommended card.
Based on what I've read Nvidia is definitely the way to go.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04, would this be an easy installation?

I use Fedora 17 on my laptop and almost everything works fine out of the box...but I have some small issue:
* I cannot change brightness (Fn + F9/F10, gnome settings, xbacklight,..).
My HW: HP ProBook 6465b with AMD Radeon HD 6620 (integrated processor graphics card in Llano APUs (A8 Series)).
