Just changed my phone because the other one was dead. I have a 16 gig external sd card and if I remember correctly on my other phone I had a folder externalsd or something in the root. Now the only place I see my external sd card is under /mnt. If I use recovery it does not see the external sd card. Am I missing a link or something?
something is not so clear to me- whem someone says:"sd card" of:"flash from sd card" does he refer to the internal or external sd card?

I've read posts about not being able to move apps to the external SD card. I can live with that - the problem I'm having is how to store audiobooks, pictures and music on the external card. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there something I'm missing?
Title says it all. I would like to keep all of my saved tons and backups on my external SD card but CWM doesn't see or give me an option to backup or flash from external. When I first rooted the option was there but after I installed CWM ROM manager and had it flash to the newest version 220.127.116.11 it stopped giving external card options.
I picked up my phone looking to download a new ROM to it but then found that my ES File Explorer (given root permissions) was not able to view my external SD card via the mnt folder. At the same time, I was trying to back up my apps and such via Titanium Backup but it said that it couldn't backup anything because my card was full (it's default save location is my external card).
