You can buy and download singles on amazon mp3 but they seem to have completely dropped linux support for downloading complete albums. if you want to do so you have to download each track separate. Clamz command line interface works great but they won't even serve you up an amz file anymore it appears. Even with user agent switching on chrome for me.
Did someone break the link between Banshee and Amazon as ~I just tried to download an Mp3 (Whole album actually) and instead of Banshee automatically loading I was taken to the "Install Amazon downloader" page.
Which of course doesn't work by default anymore.
So I had to google to get it going (Which I have done).
Not that I'm all that bothered as long as I get the songs I've paid for
Hi,
has anyone been successful in using the Amazon MP3 downloader on 11.2? It does no longer work because it wants specific (old) versions of libboost*:
[krienke@bliss:~/tmp] 1001 > /usr/bin/amazonmp3
/usr/bin/amazonmp3: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_filesystem.so.1.36.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Short description:
On some amazon.com, amazon.ca ,amazon,uk.co pages when viewing with firefox, the page redirects to a black screen with one white pixel in the middle.
Only happens with Firefox, Chrome doesn't redirect.
It often requires that cookies are enabled (a dubious choice), but not always

To reproduce the problem requires following a link to amazon so ....

I went through a crazy, annoying bunch of hoops to get amazon's downloader working with openSUSE (it needs outdated libboost for one thing) but now suddenly it no longer works! If I start up the amazon downloader, it opens fine but firefox never sees it as installed and I can't get it to erable it for firefox (even though it says it does).

I have both Google Play music player and Amazon MP3 Player downloaded on my Spectrum. I know I put Amazon on there, but don't remember putting Google on there (not really relevent?). Anywho, I've only downloaded one album through Google Play, and about a thousand songs through Amazon.
