Book giant Amazon.com has unveiled a new, lower-priced version of the Kindle ebook reader that exchanges ads for a lower upfront cost.
Android Kindle App & Kindle for PC - Remove from Archive (book already "deleted" in Amazon account
I know how to go to the Manage my Kindle page in Amazon and remove unwanted books.
It works fine
But have 7 or 8 books still showing in the Archived screen on my Kindle App on my Nexus 7

Remember last year when Amazon unveiled the Kindle Fire at $199 and everyone expected it to sell like hotcakes? Well it was quite successful actually, but I think it could have been more successful if it wasn’t a forked version of Android. Either way it was a game changer because they changed the pricing model forever and for the better.
Amazon announced today that it was cutting the price on both versions of its largest Kindle device, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9. The WiFi only version of the tablet was priced at $299 in the U.S. and will see its price drop to $269. The price cut for the 4G enabled version is more dramatic, going from $499 down to $399. According to Amazon, they sell their Kindle devices at cost.
Amazon is a company that just cannot stop leaking information about its new products. Before the live coverage of Amazon’s press conference on TechCrunch at 10:30 in Santa Monica, it is now a good time to write down what we know about Amazon’s lineup.
New Kindle devices are highly expected and the major focus of the conference should be on hardware.
Amazon plans to release a nine-inch Android tablet in October, and will introduce two new Kindle models in the third quarter, including its first touchscreen model, according to the Wall Street Journal. Meanwhile, the company has begun selling an ad-supported, AT T-sponsored version of the Kindle 3G e-reader for $139....
With the introduction of the $499 8.9-inch Kindle HD with LTE, Amazon now has a device with the same price tag as the new iPad. Of course, the devices are very different when it comes to capacity, connectivity and screen size but the consumers will have no choice but to compare them.
Yet, contrarily to what many have said, Amazon is not trying to be yet another Apple wannabe.
During today’s Amazon Kindle Extravaganza, one of the slides that was popped up during the event got the attention of quite a few of us.
Hello,
I recently purchased my first Android device, the Nexus 7. I downloaded the Amazon Kindle app to view my person PDF files. Is there a way to add cover art to my PDF files to be displayed when I launch the Amazon Kindle app?
I have tired to convert the PDF to MOBI, but when I open the file in the app, it's all formatted incorrectly.
Any suggestions?
