Output of yum list installed, rightmost column:

Most of them say installed, some say @amzn-main, and some say @amzn-updates.

What is the meaning of this? It says tmux is @amzn-main, but I have been running it. So is it actually installed or not?

I'm trying to compile zsh 5.0.2, but its configure script is complaining about not finding ncurses. ncurses is listed as @amzn-updates.

I bought the ad-free version of Angry Birds - Star Wars a while back from Amazon (v. 1.4), since Play Store didn't offer it. The Store said an update to v. 1.5 was available, so I installed it since Amazon shows no similar update.

None of my progression was wiped, but I didn't see the extra level it promised so I reinstalled the Amazon version.

Thrifty Verizon customers don’t have to wait for Black Friday. Amazon Wireless has a number of pretty solid Android phones on sale for a penny. The Blogosphere is buzzing about Flurry Analytics research that compares app store sales and app revenues from the Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN) and Google (GOOG) app stores. But which app store is best of channel partners and ISVs (independent software vendors)? Hmmm… The VAR Guy would like to shift the conversation a bit. App stores for tablets and smart phones are sexy.

Store rep told me this the other day when I was trying to get verizon to price match amazon and best buy. They wouldn't of course. I bought the phone Oct 25th as prerelease, but it didn't go out until Nov 27 so she said it fit the window.

Odd firefox amazon behavior 28 weeks 3 days ago

Short description: On some amazon.com, amazon.ca ,amazon,uk.co pages when viewing with firefox, the page redirects to a black screen with one white pixel in the middle.

Only happens with Firefox, Chrome doesn't redirect. It often requires that cookies are enabled (a dubious choice), but not always --- To reproduce the problem requires following a link to amazon so .... A: Go to this wiki
