On July 25 Amazon began shipping its Fire phone, which includes Firefly, software that instantly recognizes products you can directly purchase on Amazon. Hot on the heels of this announcement was the news that Amazon released a beta version of its mobile wallet, Amazon Wallet, which will allow users to save gift cards to their device.
I contacted Westone today regarding their warranty on products purchased from amazon.com and they said that if amazon.com (not any of the third party sellers on amazon.com) is the seller of the product, Westone will honor the 2 year warranty.

I bought the ad-free version of Angry Birds - Star Wars a while back from Amazon (v. 1.4), since Play Store didn't offer it. The Store said an update to v. 1.5 was available, so I installed it since Amazon shows no similar update.
None of my progression was wiped, but I didn't see the extra level it promised so I reinstalled the Amazon version.
