Every day I get the output of sudo service --status-all emailed to me using crond. The server is a CentOS 6.5 web server which I use to host a few WordPress websites. Occasionally sendmail will change from is running...
I have installed fedora 13 recently and installed IDPS(snort) on it. But now I am not able to start service httpd.
when I write service httpd start, it says OK, but I know it is a false message bcoz when I write service httpd stop it gives me FAILED.
On writing service httpd status it gives a message:
I'd like to better understand how milter hand-offs work.
When a remote MTA initiates an SMTP session, my understanding is that Sendmail hands the message data off to the milter during that session. Where/how is this message data stored? Is this all done in memory? Or is there a "queue" area where message data for milter is stored for pickup by the milter?
I have webmin CP and have installed BIND DNS server. When I click Start BIND link on upper right corner of the page nothing happens, just my page got refreshed? Is this normal or should I see STOP link rather than Start link?
