Hi all!
I have Fedora 11 and amarok-2.1.1-1.fc11.i586.
Last week after some updates and for now I have a problem with amarok, it doesn't want or can't to make a list of song for playing!!! So it can't play anymore.
All the buttons and menu items like clear playlist, new playlist, add songs to playlist etc. don't do anything!!!
Hi,
I'm running F17 (KDE x64) using Amarok 2.6.0. When I plug in my iPod Nano (the one with the video camera at the back), Amarok doesn't recognize it. I have libgtkpod installed, and after some Googling i haven't found anything more recent than about a year ago that is relevant.
I don't know if it's a dependency problem or an incompatibility between my iPod and Amarok.
googling around i've found that lot's of forum threads suggest to use phonon xine backend to avoid amarok skips tracks
amarok can play with phonon gstreamer backend without any additional suse repository using the gstreamer "good" plugins (and good extras, but not sure that's mandatory...) in addition to the fluendo mp3 decoder
Hi all, I'm having some trouble using the Amarok music player. When i click the icon in applications, the splash screen shows up, then quickly disappears.
Running: amarok --debug in console gives me:
amarok: ************************************************** ************************************************** ********
Hi, I started using amarok again, and a strange issue with pulseaudio comes up : when I modify the master volume (either through kmix, or veromix), Amarok's volume is increased/decreased by the same amount. It does however stay relative : If master is at 100%, Amarok at 75%, and I drop master to 0, then back to 100%, Amarok stays at 75%.
Since we began seriously working on Amarok 2 more than two years ago, Amarok has come a very long way. Looking back at screenshots of some of the very early incarnations of Amarok 2 can be almost frightening, and it is clear that Amarok 2 has changed much since then. While the Amarok 2.0 release was in no way perfect, it was more importantly a solid foundation to work on, and Amarok 2.1 is already shaping up to be a much more well rounded music manager.

Hi,
I'm having a bit of a problem with Amarok under OpenSuse 11.2
Hi,
few days ago I upgraded amarok on my openSuSE 11.2 from amarok-2.3.1-1 to amarok-2.3.1-4 (with vendor change to OBS KDE:Backports obs://build.opensuse.org/KDE).
I am having a problem with Amarok 1.4.10 in openSUSE 11.1 that was not in 10.3. When Amarok is playing, the hard drive is in constant use. If something else, like a find, runs Amarok starts skipping. There is also a skip when ever I un-pause play. I dont see anything in Amarok config to increase or use a memory cache.
Thanks in advance.
Dave
