Altitude is a 2D side-scrolling airplane shooter game created by Erik Measure and Karl Sabo, the founders of Nimbly Games. The best multiplayer 2D aerial combat game on the internet, Altitude is a fierce contest of ace vs ace, battling for supremacy of the skies in a fast paced combat that is way more fun than a flight simulator.
Altitude Games, a Manila-based mobile game studio, has raised $275,000 in seed funding from investors Nix Nolledo, Level Up! Games co-founder Philip Cahiwat, an undisclosed angel investor, and members of its founding team.
Double Action is a new action shooter game based on the Source engine and distributed freely on Steam. It is pretty fun to play and incorporates some movement tricks that you can do while playing, like sliding or diving with simple key/mouse combinations.
Double Action: Boogaloo was launched on Steam on October 23, 2014 and is available freely.
This is a very nice game for Linux. Its Vega Strike, a space action game simulator for Linux and Windows OS. Vega Strike is a 3d OpenGL Action Space Sim for Win/Lin/Mac allowing players to trade and bounty hunt in a vast universe.
I was just wondering if anybody knows what the first console based online multiplayer game was or the first console to support it was. I'm looking for actual multiplayer, not just game downloads like intellivision and the Atari 2600 did in the early 80's and sega and Nintendo did in the early 90's.
