Hello everyone I'm quite new with Android phones and I recently downloaded the GoSMS app. I've set it up so that I have contacts that only appear in the private inbox.
This has worked great for days until the last 3 days, messages from a contact that I've moved into the private inbox are suddenly showing in my normal sms inbox.
Well, my question is, is there anyway to customize or modify the display?
I've used both Handcent and GoSMS, and like the customization options. I don't expect the stock app to go the extent, but is there anyway at all to at lease change the color or something?
I got this phone last week, coming from an EVO 4G with which I used Go SMS Pro for years with no problems with MMS whatsoever. However, now with the Optimus G I'm having some serious problems. Group messages and MMS aren't working properly with GoSMS Pro. Namely, they aren't being sent - unless I send them from the stock messages app. Is anyone else having this problem?
Once in awhile (happened twice yesterday) my phone freezes and I am unable to wake the screen after getting a text notification. I use GoSMS pro.
I hear the chime, see the LED on but I cannot open the phone, it remains black.
The only way to open it is to reboot or take the battery out.
It's rather embarrassing in front of my iFriends.
Any suggestions? Besides getting new friends?

Right now I'm preparing for spring by cleaning up my apps I was wondering which sms client do you prefer cubie messenger or gosms?
My first question is is there a Instant Messager app with a widgets for the desktop?
And which do you prefer more GoSMS or HandcentSMS?
Hey anyone know how to send MMS and be in group messages on GoSms. I did the APN stuff already. I clicked Group messaging in the settings. Anyone know what to do. Thank you very much for everyone who will help.
I can't delete pictures that were sent to me and they were put in my gs3 gallery. There is no delete option and I can't find the files on phone. Tried deleting GoSMS and they are still there. Very annoying. Any help?
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good texting apps?? I used to use handcent but with its new update its slow and ugly and gosms doesnt work for me, when i receive a text it wont vibrate..... the old handcent worked perfect.
