I have a webserver built via virtualbox that I had running fine with Port 80. I am currently trying to change the port # to 8088 so that our IT people can open it to the outside world to allow external connections. I have edited my httpd.conf and changed the listen directive as well as added a virtualhost entry for *:8088. I have also added the port into selinux.
I am a bit new to vlan, so forgive me if I ask noob question.
I am trying to setup a vlan on my netgear switch (GS105E). I want to create 2 separated networks and I want both of them have internet access.
My setup is
Modem
connect to
router WRT54G (with dd-wrt)
connect to
netgear switch
I have configured port 1 and port 5 as vlan1 and port 2 to port 4 as vlan2.
My ISP has blocked port 80, and I'm trying to figure out alternate ways for people to connect to my site. I've setup my webserver so it listens to port 8080, and have it forward all requests to my router from that port to my server.
I'm trying to set up a web server for my first time. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04.1 and i've installed LAMP. I have also set up a static IP for the server, 192.168.0.111 and reserved it in the router settings. So far so good.
Now to the problem. I forwarded port 80 to the servers IP address, but the server is not responding to any connections.
I edit httpd.conf and add Listen 5900 .
But xampp control panel status displays port 80 when i restart apache. Why it refuses to change port? Which is the correct syntax to edit the httpd file?
I'm running both IIS and Apache. I have Apache set to 127.0.0.2 and IIS to 127.0.0.1 so that I can have them both on port 80.
In order to do this, i had to go into netsh and make it so IIS only listens to 127.0.0.1. The problem is that I have Team Foundation Server on IIS on port 8080 and would like to be able to remotely access it.
I'm trying to setup openssh-server, but I'm having some issues connecting. I changed the port to something non-standard (57757) and then set my router to forward to that port. On my LAN, I'm able to ssh into my machine fine using port 57757, but not able to do so on the WAN.
I am looking to create a load balancing server. Essentially here is what I want to do:
I have a public IP address, lets say 1.1.1.1 I have a second public IP address, lets say 2.2.2.2
Here is what I want to happen. I have a website, www.f.com point to 1.1.1.1 via an A record.
so i have the lg esteem on metro pcs and ive rooted it. i aso use wifi tether to play games on my laptop using my 4g, but i cant pay diablo 2 because i get a error saying port 6112 is closed. ive tried the port forwarding app but it doesnt work. ive also ran a port scanner i found that says port 53 on my phone is the only port open. any assistance in solving my problem would be appreciated.
