I am relatively new to Linux and have been trying to use Backtrack 5 but it doesnt detect my wireless card so I cant connect to any wireless networks, I am using a Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC wireless card. I was wondering is there anything I can do like download drivers/patches etc. to make my internal wireless card work, or will I have to buy an external USB wifi adapter.

i´m trying to use backtrack 3 and 4 on my windows 7 pc. whenever i´m trying to boot backtrack 3 the software detects my built in card (atheros ar9285 802.11b/g/n wifi adapter), but it is deactivated and can only be activated when i´m running windows 7.

I am new to Ubuntu and was given a Toshiba Satellite L650-BT2N23 that I was hoping to use Ubuntu on. I installed 10.10 but wifi, the integrated intel graphics, and the SD card reader don't seem to work.
First I need to get wifi working; from looking around the forums I tried booting from a livecd, but no wifi card seen.
