There are obviously many different methods to create watermark for an image. However, in this article, I will show how to do the task without using any GUI application. Everything will totally be done in the terminal with the help of imagemagick.
I use one of my favorite images, the pic of Linus Torvalds raising his middle finger, as the example.
I'm getting multiple "Buffer I/O error on device loop1, logical block 494320" while working with mounted Ubuntu OMAP image ( http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/12.04/release/ubuntu-12.04-preinstall... ).
I'd like to run fsck against the FS but I don't know how to do it with offset (75497472 bytes for current image).
Is there any way to have netflow v9 converted to syslog?
Which would be the best way to have the following idea working?

Hi
I cannot mount an image file on my squeeze/wheezy:
Code:
# mount -t vfat -o loop,offset=512 binary.img /mnt
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop0,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
Code:
# file -k binary.img

A friend of mine who is a nature photographer by hobby is willing to participate in Ubuntu wallpaper contest. He had submitted his entry to the stream. However, the photo contains his watermark in it. He can re-upload the image without watermark if it is selected. Can this be a issue in selection? Does he needs to re-submit the photo without watermark?
