Hi Everyone,
I was attempting to get a graphics tablet working and so removed a number of files with a view to re-installing these.
One of the files was ... xserver-xorg-input-wacom
Then, when I rebooted the computer, I got the following message ...
The system is running in low-graphics mode
Your screen, graphics card, and input device settings could not be detected correctly.
i installed newest ubuntu relaese yesteday and everything was fine till today. when i turned it on there was this message:
the system is running in low-graphics mode. your screen, graphic card and input device settings could not be detected correctly.
I'm having an issue with a clean install of 12.10 Ubuntu 64-bit. It's similar to other posts I've seen to do with GRUB and nvidia, but in my case it's happening with Intel HD4000 graphics. I get a window on bootup with "Low graphics mode." It happens about 90% of the time I boot. I have to keep rebooting until my graphics card is finally recognized. Any suggestions, folks?
After following the instructions here:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/17332...-splash-screen (Ubuntu Sunrise (plymouth))
On reboot I get the following message in a low graphics popup:
"Your system is running in low graphics mode".
I have to reboot into the grub menu and choose 'recovery' option and then choose 'resume boot' to get to my desktop.
How do I fix this?
Hello!
I own a Acer Aspire 5552 laptop, which has Ubuntu on it. And now i updated it to 12.04 LTS from 11.10. When i turn the laptop on, it says : Your system is running in low-graphics mode, Your screen, graphics card, and input device settings could not be detected correctly.
I'm running openSUSE 11.2 with xen as my primary settings. Everything on 11.2 works fine that I know, but when I make Windows XP vm's, at best I get 2D graphics. Is there a way to fix this? My system has a XFX 8200 motherboard with AMD Tri-core processor, a ATI Radeon HD3600 graphics, card and 4gb RAM. The vm's graphics shows type as "vnc server" which I don't know what that is.
The details are that I used Universal USB Installer version 1.9.1.8 from http://www.pendrivelinux.com to install Ubuntu 12.10 onto a 4GB pendrive as per instruction on Ubuntu's website. However, after I boot with drive I am met with the following message:
The system is running in low-graphics mode. Your screen, graphics card, and input device settings could not be detected correctly.
I have installed 12.8 (new) Ati Amd driver for my Mobility Radeon HD 7550.
After installing I configured xorg.conf using "aticonfig --initial" and restarted the laptop.
I got the screen saying the system is running in low graphics mode. graphics drivers etc could not be determined. And gives me 4 options: 1. Run in low graphics mode for just one session 2. Recofigure graphics 3.
As I try to stat up my Ubuntu lenovo dual boot with windows 7 ultimate...and after upgrading from 12.04 to 12.10
I get the following statement
System running in low graphics mode, your screen, graphics card, input devices settings could not be detected correctly, you will need to configure these yourself....
My graphic cards runs on windows and it ran properly before my upgrade...
How can I resol
