I have posted in here previously but it was regarding using Debian. I just reformatted my HDD and install Ubuntu 9.1.

Recently, I have replaced my old motherboard Giga G41M + Pentium 5500 CPU with the new Giga B75M + Celeron G540 CPU.
The old motherboard has an on-board GPU, Intel GMA X4500.
The new motherboard has no on-board GPU, but the new CPU has an on-die GPU, Intel HD Graphics.
I'm running Debian testing, without reinstall after upgraded the hardware.

its not overheating is it?
Why does it do this, before in windows it wasn't like this!

I have a similar problem in that the Intel 915 driver is improperly suggested by X [The chip seems not to be supported by the '915 driver, even though it is from Intel]. I have filed a bug up... [by herrold]

Hello. I'm using openSUSE 11.3 with an Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller. The kernel driver in use is i915, however, in another distribution of Linux, two kernel modules are loaded: i915 and intelfb. I would like to know how to load module intelfb in openSUSE 11.3 as it seems to significantly improve my video card's responsiveness.

Just brought a Lenovo Thinkpad X200, and did a fresh install of Karmic. Everything works fine, except the wireless card isn't being recognised. There's a thread associated with the thinkpad but it doesn't seem to make sense.
So I lspci 'ed and got:
