Hi All,
Please find my problem below:
I have a file at two different nodes dev and test
1st find> find /u/dev/local/abc -name ab.dat
--Since this file can be in several sub directories
2nd find> find /u/test/local/abc -name ab.dat
I find my 1st find result and do compare with 2nd find result.
This seems like an obvious question to me but I can't find the answer... Presume I want to find a certain txt-file in my project and in Terminal I type:
find -name test.txt
As result I might get something like:
./directory1/directory2/directory3/directory4/test.txt
How do I jump to directory4 without having to type the complete path?
Even in our age of Yelp and Google Places, finding the right restaurant can often be hard. In April, Hoppit launched its “ambiance search engine for restaurants” to make it easier to find a nice spot that fits not just your culinary preferences but also your mood. Today, after a bit of a delay, the company is launching its redesigned website and its iPhone app.
Anyone know a good site that explains testWhat is "test"
How to use "test"
Good to know about "test"
And so on and so forth.
The reason i ask, is that i'am currently going through a script written by a co-worker.
And test is used extensively, but my knowledge about test without a if, is very limited.
So a guide on how "what test is" and "how to use te
Hi,
I writing a shell program to remove the data from output of the find which matches a list in a file
I am using the below find command to get the list of files
x=`find .
Are there any search engines that are friendly enough to be used in Links?
I did not find the software to do some HW test by my own. We made the expirience, that there are many different Vendor models arround, which are not on the list actualy, but this means not in general, that those models do not work with ubuntu.
So it would be very helpful, if we were able to perform the test yourself
Thanks

Hello,
I have a file that I want to be able to insert a new line before every instance of a regex.
There's such thing for Ubuntu too?
A software which search+test proxies... that's all I do need
