It seems my video card, a GeForce 7300GS has died. My motherboard manufacturer told me that the PCI-E slots on the board are v1. The motherboard is an EVGA nForce 590SLI. I'm having a hard time finding an older video card with v1 PCI. Can I use a more up-to-date v2 or v3 video card in this motherboard? In other words, is the PCI spec backwards compatible?
Hi, I have now gone through 2 cards, the first one thinking it was broke so i sent it back, and my unit is doing the exact same with my new card.
When i got my first card which was a sandisk ultra 64gb sdxc card, i thought it was originaly a bad card as my unit wouldn't see it, plus when i put it into my laptop and formatted it, it only showed as 32gb.

Hi folks, I plugged in a seagate expansion drive 1Tb into my linux server for backup purposes but it is unable to mount it. I can see the expansion drive in My computer but when I click on it, it says unable to mount, device already mounted or busy.
Windows can read the hard disk with no problems. It is ntfs formatted. I installed ntfs kernel and fuse.
