http://ubuntuforums.org – I've been dual booting my system between Windows 7 and Ubuntu for a while now. A few days ago I upgraded my Linux to 11.10 and then yesterday I upgraded my Windows from the Home Premium edition to Ultimate. I forgot that I had hibernated my Linux side before I started upgrading Windows. After installing Windows I couldn't boot into Linux but I used Boot-Repair with the default options to fix it. I started Ubuntu, fsck ran while it was booting, and then I logged in. I tried to save some work but couldn't. I checked the properties for my filesystem and it said that that the owner was Root and my (Hardware)
