I've had some trouble getting 12.04 to read encrypted DVD's. One of the things I did, was to set the region to 2 (Europe) with sudo regionset.

However, I have some DVD's from region 1 (USA) that I would like to see.

Region changes are limited to 5 times. Is there a way to set region zero (all regions)? I suppose the original setup was zero.

I often choose the region which is full screen because I like playing games with a full screen.

I've just taken over a web project hosted on Windows Azure.

We've been having performance problems, and I noticed today that our SQL Azure server is in the West Europe region, while the instances hosting our site are in the North Europe region.

How big a problem is this? Assuming it's a problem (and I assume it is at least a problem from a bandwidth billing point of view!) how do I fix it?

Hi guys, I hope everybody is doing fine. I have written this small program which solves the critical region problem. Only on of the two threads can make changes to a common variable called counter. I am using two semaphores, is it possible to write the same program using only one semaphore?

as soon as i try to extend the Filesystem its give me that there is not enough space .

as there any way to change the REGION of the LVs in HDISK1 ?
