Hello. I've installed Gwenview plugins at the program's menu, but I realised that I won't be using those nor the programs like DNG, Panorama, etc, that now appear at my Graphics menu. So, what packgages do I have to remove to get Gwenview back to how it was before?
Thanks in advance.
So this is going to be one of those "is this even possible?" questions. I need to upgrade a piece of my KDE from 4.8.5 to 4.9. Specifically, I need to upgrade Gwenview from the 2.85 version in KDE 4.8.5 to 2.9 version in KDE 4.9. It seems trivial but it's actually a fairly big deal for me. I recently upgraded my Ubuntu to 12.04, and that upgraded my Gwenview to 2.8x.
Gwenview is the default image viewer for the KDE desktop. Out of the box it's good looking but nothing obviously exceptional. Except for two things: Phonon and plugins. That combination really does make Gwenview a pretty useful bit of kit. Let's see what it can do.Category: End usersLicense: GPL
Gwenview is the default image viewer in KDE, and it does its job very well. Not only it has enough features to accommodate the more demanding users (like ratings, file browser or thumbnail view), but its functionality can be extended using the KIPI plugins, a KDE set of image plugins used by applications like DigiKam as well, besides Gwenview.
Gwenview is not showing video thumbnails since I've upgraded (via fresh install) to F17. I found an old bug report about it, but it's supposed to be fixed in the current version that ships with F17. Is anyone else seeing (or is that not seeing ..lol..) this problem?
