[all variants] create "folder synonym"

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi all, how do I create "folder synonym"? What I mean... Let's say I have "/host/disk/downloads/torrent" folder at bigger partition. My need is to create something like synonym in order to access it via "/home/user/torrent". My "/home/user" is at small partition, so I can't place it there. (Hardware)

I have tried two ways for sharing a folder on Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit so that I could access it on a Windows XP PC on the same switch:

1st: right-clicking the folder > properties > share > Share this folder and checking both "Allow others to create and delete files in this folder" and "Guest access (for people without a user account)"

2nd: adding the folder to Samba

After Having many bugs with something like Xorg-server, I decided to reinstall F17. I boot with live USB, Using "beesu nautilus" I deleted all folders of / partition and renamed home folder to old-home. All is OK :dance: I reinstalled F17 to the same partition, telling to not format.

I expected to find my old-home folder again in the new installation, but nothing is here :dis: even

Today I was tweaking a bit around with the settings, I wanted my home directory to be on another partition which I share with Windows, so I went to User/Groups in the menu panel, and set my home to /home/Sirupsen/disk, and in the folder disk I had mounted my "shared" partition.

When in YaST/System/Partitioner I try to create RAID for my second HDD which is named "sdb". My original "sda" hdd is partitioned as follows: dev/sda, disk type dev/sda1, linux swap, swap, swap dev/sda2, linux native, ext3, / dev/sda3, linux native, ext3, /home

I have a storage partition with four folders on it named "All (universal)", "Windows", "Mac", and "Linux". In my "All (universal)" folder I have three folders, labeled "Pictures", "Documents" and "Videos". In my "Linux" folder I have a folder labeled "Downloads".

Anyone know if its possible to save a web page to a folder for offline reading please. I've tried "Pocket" and "ES File Explorer" but I can't then find a way of moving the web page to another folder.
