http://ubuntuforums.org – I've got a diskless mini-box, spec's below. It makes a CF flash drive look like an IDE HDD. It will not boot from a USB stick or anything else that I have. I'm trying to do this on a new 8gb CF. Is there some way I can do this: 1 - use another computer to partition the new 8 gb CF into, lets say, P1 = 3gb and P2 = 5gb. 2 - somehow put the Xubuntu install iso on P2 and make it bootable 3 - put the CF in the m-computer and boot the install 4 - install Xubuntu on P1 5 - reformat P2 and make it /home ...... or is there another way?
