RECOVERY IS HALF WORKING! THERE ARE ISSUES WITH IT STILL! YOU MAY OR MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FLASH A ROM NOW! MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS!
The Nexus 10 may not be selling as well as LG’s Nexus 4, but that hasn’t detracted from its surmountable capabilities.
Well that didn’t take long at all. If you’re looking for a very simple and quick way to unlock and root your AT&T or Sprint HTC One, you can do it now thanks to hasoon2000 over at XDA. He already posted a toolkit for the international version a month ago, so this is very similar.
I am a huge fan of rooting my devices, it allows deep customization and the ability to load any ROM I want to.
Although there is a simple root toolkit for the Nexus 10, we always stress the importance of unlocking and rooting your device the manual way. It gives you a better understanding of how things work, but we do understand why you might want to go the easy route.
It's been a while since I posted anything here. . .
While I'm a bit late to the rooting bandwagon with the GNex, I am glad to finally be able to root my beloved phone.
I'm currently in the process of backing up all the data that is in my GNex's virtual SD card, and saving it on my computer, because I plan on unlocking the phone and rooting it tonight.
Hi, i have this problem:
Two Galaxy Nexus, one is mine one of my friend 4.1.1 Yakju Maguro both.
I make the procedure with GNex TOOLKIT 7.8.
Install Drivers
Unlock Bootloader
Root
Flash CWM Touch
Download TWRP 2.2.2.0 through site and flash with adb in bootloader.
All works fine! ( mine)
For my friend same procedure, but flashed TWRP Recovery instead CWM
Install BusyBox.
I am using MKS Toolkit on windows7, i observed that when i use "tab" key to complete a file/dir name converts into lower case.
Eg:
I am having a directory named "Dir1", note "D" is in caps. In unix if i had tried pressing "d" and "<tab>" resulted in no result.
It used to be called the Galaxy Nexus Root toolkit, but with version 1.5, it’s now called the Nexus Root Toolkit because it supports all Nexus devices, including the Nexus 7. WugFresh is famous for giving us the quick and easy way to unlock and root the Galaxy Nexus as well as flash it back to stock and re-lock it.
