I'm using the Aldiko eReader in my nice new Nexus 7 and I have a question
With about a dozen eBooks loaded in the Aldiko eReader and reading one that I don't like, how do I get back to the library or bookcase to choose another eBook
I cant find out how to do it, maybe I had too much wine over Christmas :xmas:
I just downloaded Aldiko on my ZeePad 7.0 Android 4.0 tablet and am trying to import from my Dropbox-hosted Calibre library. I added the catalog.xml URL to the catalogs, but whenever I tap on a book it just gives me the book's cover art, authors, and title, and no option to download.
Am I missing something obvious?
I'm looking for an iBooks alternative for my Kindle Fire (Jelly Bean ROM)
The best book reader that I found (until now) it's the Aldiko, but it does not fit my right my screen and does not have the page turn effect, the book format (like iBooks)
Is there any good reader for Kindle Fire with these features?
Thanks.
Prior to the latest Aldiko update I was able to sync my libraries between my laptop and android devices. As Aldiko sync is no longer allowed access to the app, is there any other app that allows this functionality without rooting my Nexus 7?
I'm used to Kindle, but now have Nexus7, and to read my own epub books, have had to start using Aldiko, and after some days of getting used to, it seems to do the job fairly well.
My question seems simple enough: how do you go back to the page you were reading, when you check bookmarks, or do a 'go to' elsewhere in the book.
I have several thousand books in Calibre. These are mainly pdf. The original pdf metadata is invalid, but I have manually corrected this in Calibre (i.e. the Calibre catalogue, NOT the pdf). I have a Nexus 7, and I wish to import them into a reader that will process the metadata, but I cant find a product that will do it.
Hi, bought the Nexus 7 32gb today. Looks beautiful, really.
I got the Aldiko app, and have downloaded some of my epubs.

Hello. I am using a Samsung Galaxy tab2 with the pre-installed Kindle app. After I convert the book from epub to mobi and send to device, where does it go? It isn't showing up in the Kindle library when I launch the app. However, when I look at the Kindle folder on the tablet (via my pc) it shows the book with "epub". Any help is appreciated, thank you.
