Try catalyst or catalyst-hook instead of catalyst-generator. Found this, may be an issue similar to yours (because of the error)

It sounds like you need to rebuild the Catalyst module for your new kernel. I don't have an AMD card myself, but information should be available in the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Catalyst

This has actually been solved for me. I don't know what did it but it think it was most likely because i was using an unofficial repository for catalyst, but had it at the bottom of my repositories list, so it installed an earlier version of catalyst-utils from the official repositories
