Hi, Horde is a mystery with its disk space consumption...or is it something else?
The 'disk space usage' panel shows 45.74 mg being used by mail; when i click on 'mail' on the 'disk space usage' panel, the the in, out, send, trash boxes for all mail id's have far less than the amount of disk space usage noted on the above mentioned panel.
Using df -h and du my disk space show 100% all the time. I have deleted at least 2GB of files and I rebooted the server. I thought that will fix the issue as the server came up just fine. However, it still shows disk space at 100%.
Have anyone has this issue before? I have a tomcat and mysql running on both server. I have stopped those also. I have no idea what to do now?
Hi! When I log on to my cpanel account, the stats menu on the left shows disk space usage as 1480.39/∞. But when I click on the link of "disk space usage" it shows me as though the disk space usage is limited. For example my public_html shows that it is almost full making me worried of uploading more files.
Introduction
Yesterday Go2Linux was down, and all the problem was disk full, but how that happened?
Well, it was MySQL fault, the files like
mysql-bin.000001
mysql-bin.000002
mysql-bin.000003
mysql-bin.000004
mysql-bin.000005
....
mysql-bin.00000n
They were taking thousands of megas of disk space, let's see now why they are there, and how you can avoid running out of disk.

After looking into the MySQL error file, I found an error regarding disk space. Now I think its the reason for MySQL crashing:
[root@xxxx ~]# cat /var/lib/mysql/xxxx.com.err
120528 17:45:05 [Note] Crash recovery finished.
/usr/sbin/mysqld: Disk is full writing './mysql-bin.~rec~' (Errcode: 28). Waiting for someone to free space...
I am using Windows 7 and have been trying to retrieve disk space, but when I run Disk Cleanup the Temporary Internet files (18.1KB) and System archived Windows Error Report (267KB) will not delete. It goes through the process as if they are being deleted, but my disk space remains the same; I then go back to Disk Cleanup to see if they have been removed and they are still there.
i dont know if you guys encountered this... but i recently moved a movie into my gnex to watch. after watching, i deleted it. after deleting, i tried to move a new movie in. but, it said i didnt have enough hard disk space. strangely enough, the new movie is smaller than the old movie i deleted, so i was a bit confused.
I’m running Postfix as my MTA, and it has randomly decided to stop accepting incoming email:
Sep 14 07:50:26 zulu postfix/smtpd[27946]: warning: not enough free space in mail queue: 6832128 bytes < 1.5*message size limit
In my postconf:
message_size_limit = 10240000
queue_minfree = 25000000
All mail to my system is being rejected with 452 4.3.1 Insufficient system storage.

Today we created an hosting account on a cpanel server with unlimited disk space.
But in fantastico while installing wordpress it showed error as:
Not enough space available to install WordPress
