Does anyone else have the problem that direct dial shortcuts are not working (created by custom launcher like LauncherPro or ADWlauncherEX). I can create the shortcut but it doesn't initiate anything when I press it. Does anyone know how to fix this on the stock ROM?
I know I can place a direct dial widget on the home screen but that's not what I'm looking for.
Can I customise the launcher to have two column or rows, instead of 1 as it is right now? The number of application I'm using at one time is quite numerous and would like to see all of them in the launcher, preferably in 2 columns, and static, instead of scrolling around on the launcher searching for one application.
i need my application to be defined as default launcher only when my application is running,
when i exit my application i want the device to remember that my application was defind as default launcher so next time i run it no default launcher dialog will pop up...
I installed alacarte and used that to try and add an application launcher for Sublime Text, but I got an error half way through. Now I've got a launcher in my menu that links to a non existent file, without an icon. It doesn't show up in alacarte, and I searched in /usr/share/applications and it doesn't show up there. I cannot find any reference to it on my computer, yet still it's there.
Please can someone suggest me between holo launcher and adw launcher Since both are jelly bean themed launcher they both look great and perform best out of all but i am planing to buy either holo launcher plus or adw launcher plus please recommend which will be the best investment for me.

Is there a way to customize a Lucid Lynx Launcher icon for various programs? There does not seem to be a way to do this using Create Launcher or Launcher properties. The application is not actually "installed" on the PC, the executable has just been copied.
