Christoph Wickert tells us the LXDE spin of Fedora 12 is now here.
Hiya! I suddenly started thinking about possibly making a WindowMaker or Blackbox spin of Fedora, mainly for the heck of it, but also for the people that really, really like to configure their stuff. Waddya guys think of doing that, and how would it compete against the GNOME, KDE, MATE, LXDE, and Xfce spins?
Also, I wonder if there's a way to use the text-based version of Anaconda for said spin.
I have just asked the website admins to remove the Fedora 12 LXDE Spin
from the BitTorrent Tracker because we found a major bug that makes the
images unusable. The problem is a crash in lxde-settings-daemon that
triggers abrt, the automatic bug reporting tool. Because
lxde-settings-daemon gets restarted by lxsession the bug reporting tool

This page shows there is a spin of Fedora targeted towards gamers but none of the 4 links are valid. Does anybody know what is going on with this? Were these links posted prematurely? I am a Linux newbie so I don't know if this is a brand-new spin, an upcoming spin, or a long-standing spin. Again, the link is below, then click on downloads to see the download links.
Check out Spin-Tops on Google Play Store!
In Spin-Tops you will be spinning with your battle Spin-Top around stadiums and try to knock your opponents down before your top stops. Tilt your phone/tablet to crash and collide into AI Spin-Tops. You can customize your Spin-Top with many different parts. Every part has own stats that will affect the performance of your Spin-Top.
I just did a fresh install of the LXDE spin of fedora 18 onto my Acer Aspire D250 netbook.
Arch linux and the Linux Mint Debian Edition both worked perfectly on this netbook, but Fedora 18 refuses to log on to my wireless network. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that it is a setup issue and NOT driver issue.
Wired networking works great.
