I have a new S3 and any time it sees a new wifi signal it asks if I want to configure a wifi hotspot.
It doesn't ask if I want to connect to a wifi network, but rather if I want to configure a wifi hotspot.

Hi, I need to install certificate to access wifi at school. I found some manual on the internet, but in Settings -> Security I don't have "Install from SD Card" ... and in advanced option of wifi I also don't have certificates. Can anyone help me please?

I'm need to use my laptop (with lubuntu 12.04) as a WiFi hotspot.
I created the wifi hotspot via "Create new wireless network" from the network connections menu.
The hotspot comes up and then disconnects. I can see this on my Android phone and tablet.
I have an Eye-Fi card for my camera. i can set it up to offload images from my camera to my home PC over a WiFi hotspot.
So I can use it with built-in tethering, but it will relay all those pics over my mobile data plan- not ideal.
BUT I might be somewhere with WiFi Access.
Just recently bought a Asus Nexus 7 and I find it an awesome device.

or to share my nexus internet through USB to other computers.
