I feel rather stupid now, but here goes:-)
Currently did a fresh install of Fedora 19 gnome spin. I'm trying to change the IP configuration for IPv4 on wire. I've managed to enter the new IP information, but the apply button is grayed out. How can I actually save my new IP config? Please help.
Trying to install ubuntu and it will not let me click the "install now" button when i select how i want to install ubuntu. it is grayed out for all options, and when i try to setup up the partitions manually it is still grayed out. anyone ran into this or have any idea why it is doing this?
Right. So, couldn't get the fedora install disc to be recognized from UEFI. I switched over to LegacyBIOS at which point the install went smoothly (I'm using fedora to post this), but I realize this was the mistake.
I downloaded Fedora 20 to replace my last windows machine.
I booted the disk and installed the OS without any issues.
After installation I booted the system. The icon of fedora shows and the screen fades to a gray-ish background.
From that point onward it stops.
I have this 6 yrs+ old Toshiba laptop, which was working fine until a few days ago when its DVD writer died suddenly. I want to install the latest Fedora 18 LXDE 32+ bit on it (I have downloaded the iso already) as I did install and run the Fedora 17 LXDE 32+ bit without much problems using a CD then.
