Hi Garald thanks for you suggest;as you mention, I had setup raid 1. and i unplug one disk and clean install CentOS 6. the 2nd harddisk, i used to installed new system for multi OS on ... [by atjr]
I have a system with 2 SSDs configured in BIOS as a Raid 0 volume. The system came with Windows 8 pre-installed. I would like to multi-boot Windows 8 and Debian 7.
The Debian installation disk detects the Raid volume just fine and maps it to /dev/md126 during installation. Grub installation fails, but then I can successfully install and configure Grub in a chroot environment from any Live CD.
I planned to setup raid 1 mirroring for my small home environment . Then i selected two new harddisk and connected to my system. I inserted my fedora dvd and i clicked raid button in the graphical installation process by refering redhat docs . I installed successfully in /dev/sda /dev/sdb it works fine .
