http://askubuntu.com – When I add a VGA card for a 2nd monitor, then reboot, I get no display at all. The original monitor works fine from the VGA on the motherboard. If booting with the VGA card added (NVidia) is idnentified by the operating system as the 'best' monitor, and it hasn't got the drivers, this is a catch 22! I have to switch off and remove the VGA card to reboot with a display, and the system cannot detect the extra VGA card becoz it's removed! Is there a simple way of telling the O/S to set the onboard VGA as the default before I add the extra VGA card? Thanks (HowTos)
