Sorry if this has been asked before - doing a search returned nothing relevant for my query. So I just upgraded to Jellybean, and I see that Adfree won't start, as the version is suddenly "too old and needs to be upgraded".
I am trying to understand the difference between the following primatives.
send (blocking and non blocking)
receive (blocking and non blocking)
RPC server accept
RPC call
I have tried searching the internet, however I have yet to find a good resource.
thanks,
daniel
I've been using K1 as an ereader. It worked well until a few days ago. Suddenly, the library2Go page will not load. It starts to load and then after a few seconds I'm popped out of the browser completely & back to my home page. I know it's not the library site because I can access it from my desk top pc. I thought AVG was blocking it so I removed it.
I have started using blocking mode for stopping night time alerts.
I would like if there was an option to only show the blocking mode icon in the notification area when blocking mode is on, i.e. when the blocking mode window is active. I don't think this is such an option.
Is there anywhere to suggest/vote on features for android?
Blocking ads on your device is moral grey area, but it’s hard to argue that it has benefits. AdBlock Plus is one of the most popular ad blocking plugins for browsers available, and it works extremely well. And luckily for Android users, an official app has made its way onto Google’s Play Store.
Most ad blocking apps right now require root, but AdBlock Plus is a little different.
More than a few developers have worked to make web browsing and app use in Android as clean and ad-free as possible, but it seems their efforts haven’t made them any fans at Google.
Just wanting to start a list as to which apps/files have been been checked to see if after removing won't mess up the phone.
Hello, I own a Motorola Xoom 2 (UK/France Wifi only with 16 GB) which it is rooted as well. I'm afraid if I can't upgrade to ICS since I removed some stock apps (I know this was stupid). Is that true if I removed some stock apps I can't upgrade to ICS anymore?
If so, how can I restore all stock apps?
I read an article on the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17431109) that apps that have adds in, drain the battery faster than apps without adds in.
Ive installed AdAway and the adds are gone from the apps, but does this mean the battery use will now drop because the adds aren't there, or will it remain just as high as the apps may still be getting the data for the apps, just not displ
