http://androidforums.com – Hi, I'm new, I just got my Galaxy SIII yesterday. I am having a hard time downloading apps? My phone told me that the apps I already had downloaded needed updates, so I just hit update all. A few went through, and all the other downloads were just pending. So I backed out of the window and went to the market place and tried downloading some more apps, but everything is just...pending. Is there a way I can view my active downloads or anything like that, because I can't get anything to finish downloading. I'm using an Optimus Slider, mainly to keep a $25 plan active. This is actually my 3rd, has been very dependable. (after rooting)

Last week, noticed there were issues first with voice to text. It works on wifi; but doesn't on 3G. I use it for Google navigation, and with handcent.

The next is downloads from market. When I download something via 3G (full signal) it never starts downloading.

Hey guys just new to the forum. Bought Galaxy S2,was trying to install few apps (the regular ones) but they are not downloading ,even the updates are not downloading.I checked with sevice provider but they everything is fine from their side.

Problem downloading apps 16 weeks 5 days ago

I just got my Galaxy s3 today in the mail, and when I try to download certain apps they get up hung up. For instance I try downloading the facebook app and it stalls at 84% every time. Same goes with a few other apps. Then other apps download just fine.

I have restarted the phone, and cleared the cache in the play store...

Any ideas? Thanks!

Quite ironic that one of my main gripes on (non jailbroken) iOS was the download limit, since I had an unlimited plan, but with my S3 I only get 1.5GB and I'm eating through it.

For example just now I purchased the Batman game through the play store online, then noticed my phone was part the way through downloading it...

I am running just a stock rom 4.0.4 with HTC sense 4.1 on top.

Currently when I try to update any of my existing apps e.g Ebay it downloads the file but then when installing it says insufficient storage and aborts.

In terms of storage I have 1.52gb internal and 21.94gb phone storage so plenty free.

This doesnt seem to affect downloading new apps.

I expect I sound silly but I was given a Touchtab 3 yesterday and am having problems in downloading Apps from Google Play. I managed to download Skype last night but then it froze so I uninstalled it and now can't re-install any Apps. Always get "error while retrieving information from server [RCC:S-5:AEC]

Am desparate to sort it out and don't know how.

i use yum-fast-downloader plugin it usese aria2 for downloading rpm pkgs but not for downloading delta rpm's when it dwonloads rpm's with aria2,the speed is 200 kB/s but when yum downloads deltarpm's with curl download manager,the speed is 8 kB/s the speed is very low!!!! what is the problem?

Hey I am new to custom roms and have recently downloaded the UltimaRom v8.1.1 rom to my Galaxy S3. It runs great but there is a new update to v8.1.2 and after downloading from the phone it downloads a zip file and asks me if I want to reboot into recovery.
