Ubuntu is among the most popular and user-friendly Linux operating systems you will find. That said, Ubuntu can be intimidating and frustrating to computer users just stepping out of the World of Windows. Nothing beats learning how to use the Linux operating system like hands-on discovery.
This is not a discussion on piracy. I want to rip the dvd's to my hdd so that I can store them on a media server. In the past I've always used OGMRip to decrypt and convert movies to mpeg. I've done this a zillion times without problem. Now OGMRip gets stuck at a certain point and doesn't progress. I then tried Handbrake but it wouldn't even load any of the disks.
