Not that long ago I am sure Samsung released details about their own music docking station for the S4 and other new handsets.
Anyone any details of it please?
I cannot find it anywhere.
I performed a new ubuntu 12.04 LTS installation in a HP NX7400 with a docking station (EN488AA). When I start the computer, I have to unplug the laptop from the docking station to see the screen and logon.
There are many devices on the market that have a docking station for iphones, ipods and ipads that allow to play the music from the ipod through their speakers, and many time also to control the ipod through the docking station. For me, it's the stereo of my car.
Is there some way (obviously with an adapter) to use those docks to play music stored on an android device?
I'm using a Thinkpad T420s on Ubuntu 11.10 / gnome 3, which I usually put in the corresponding docking station.
The problem is that the docked device is unable to discover the second display if connected through the docking station's DVI port. No problem if connected directly, and no problem if I use the VGA port.
I'm looking for a new laptop. USB 3.0 is a must. I'd really like a docking station (so far the only company I can find that does docking stations is Dell). I'd prefer not to pay for Windows, but none of the smaller laptop makers I've found do docking stations. ~14 - 15 inches...
Does anyone use a docking station offering all this? Samsung has one, but it is not compatible with Note 3 (or is it?). There are a couple of third party stations mentioned on this forum, unfortunately nobody confirmed if they are working or not.
So I have just updated my hp touchpad over to Android ( amazing)... I have a Docking station that I bought from HP - Now the docking station allows me to lean the Tablet on it and it charges just by touching it... I was told if i have a Smartphone with Android it should be able to do the same thing but i've had no luck with this...
