When the Galaxy S 5 was announced last month at the Samsung Packed Event 2014, the company did not unveil any accessories for its new flagship.
However, the accessories for the smartphone have appeared in a wide variety on mobile accessory site MobileFun. The first accessory is the Protective Hard Case Cover Plus made of plastic and which has a rugged look.
I have tried a few different cases from eBay, cheap molded cases with a front cover, but I haven't been very happy with the quality of any of them. Are there any more mainstream brand light cases that don't make this already-huge phone even harder to carry around?

Just ordered myself a Glacier Commuter from Otterbox for my new Note 2 but I have a 50% coupon for registering my Note on Samsungs facebook and I do like the look of the Protective + case but im wondering if anyone has first hand experience with it.
One thing I am concerned about is if the front benzel side covers are high enough to prevent the screen from getting scratched face down.
I notice that most phone cases tend to protect the back and around the phone but not the glass side. Granted that we most likely put something on to protect the glass but still, phones tend to go into our pockets along with keys and potentially other sharp objects.
I find the following very useful to have; in case you don't have an accessory that protect the screen. This sleeve can fit the Note 2 even if you already have a Case on the phone. It can also fit the Note 2 even with the Protective Flip Cover installed.
So I've been thinking about cases by various suppliers. Some are relatively thin, and therefore possibly not as protective as I'd like, but the covers can be set to be used as a stand (think MoKo, Cover-Up, Speck, etc.).
