http://androidforums.com – Hi I've made few changes in the build.prop file and now the phone is not rebooting. It stuck on the white screen with htc logo. The phone is rooted and I can access to recovery mode. I have backup of the original build.prop file. The problem is that I cannot access to the system folder in order to change the file back. When I connect the phone to the computer using the USB nothing happen. It doesn't recognize it. How can I access the system folder of the phone? (General)

Hello kind sir,:highfive: My phone is the xperia sola i rooted it alright,but i wanted to play MC3 on it and apparently i had to modify the system.prop,the game worked fine :),Later on i installed Chainfire,I installed its driver but the phone was STUCK on the boot screen(Sony),I was able to access the CWM i wiped EVERYTHING data,system...:( But yet NOTHING THE PHONE WAS still stuck on the sony

I not good at englash but ill try. I've edited a build.prop in my system folder and chaged model to lg-500 now my phone is stuck in bootloop I've made a backup file and placed it to android/data I'm not at home ,which means I can't use my pc. Were I'm its just me and my phone what my I do help please. Thank in advance

Hi to all here. i just want to ask anyone what to do with my phone. well first of all, my phone is a sky pantech vega racer im-a760s, not really a match for samsungs popularity but budget wise this is the model for me. it has a dual core. now my problem starts when i started editing the build.prop in its system (tweaked for some texting problem of limited character sending).

Here's the story. Rooted Stock RAZR. Changed Build Prop to Galaxy Nexus and google. Overwrote system files with the huge GAPPS 4.2 pack, excepting the apps folder.

Warning! Changing DPI values may cause some apps to crash or display incorrectly. Also, if you set a dpi that is incompatible with the device or OS, then it may fail to boot, and you will have to restore your OS and or build.prop file. I recommend doing a full backup of your system before using this program if you are new to changing your dpi.

I really want to change my ZTE Blade's build.prop so I can run some games from the Google Play store. Is it safe to do this? And does my phone has to be rooted in order to change the build prop?? Please I need help :) thx
