to mount smb volume: # smbclient --list host_smb_server when you already know which folder you want to mount then # mount -t cifs -o username=joe //host_dir/shared_folder /media/smb this command will prompt you the password… type it. to find out what is mounted on system:

Edit /etc/sysconfig/network inserting: HOSTNAME=xxx.machine Restart.

Fixing a bug just now noticed that the first freezes for the upcoming 2.30 are just around the corner.

We have Hamster working from command line, but dying in panel on (some?) 64 bit machines due to some threading issues or something and I totally can’t find the instructions i remember reading and using two years ago on how to debug applet once in panel.

After two days of slow hacking, i present you the fruit of my work – the first iteration on statistics. There are plenty of things to be added and polished here, but i think this is a nice little good start.

I’ve revamped the hamster graphics library (the pygtk/cairo abstraction thing). What it means is, that you can do this: In 110 lines.
