Access mediawiki installation (from repos) in browser?

https://bbs.archlinux.org – I installed the mediawiki packages from the official repository, and I ran into several questions. Mediawiki installs into /usr/share/webapps/mediawiki, but the default root of apache is /srv/http. Is it safe to simply move the files from the former directory to /srv/http/mediawiki so I can actually access them from the browser? I have other applications that already depend on /srv/http as the web root, so I hesistate to change it, but I would like to use Mediawiki (strictly locally as well). Since mediawiki didn't actually install, I presume pacman just loads its files in /usr/share/weba (HowTos)
