Two 3 TB drives replaced two 500 gig drives the first thing I did was transfer all my steam games to one drive so now I have 40+ steam games backed up which would be a pain to download al 260+ gigs over.
If I ever upgrade my SSD drives two 250 gig drives they need to come down to like 300.00 for a 1.5 TB or something =)

I've been using 3GB/s RE4 drives in RAID 1 and have been happy so far. But I've recently learned of the WD AV drives designed for always on streaming. The RE4's have 64MB caches while the AV drives have a 32MB cache. The 3Ware 9550SXU controllers have their own cache.
I put two 4 TB drives in my older daily-use computer and everything seemed to be working okay until the drives filled with around 1.8 TB of data. I discovered that my Intel 875 motherboard does not support 4 TB drives. I am running Windows 7 with 8 GB of memory.
