Have you cleaned up your Linux installation lately? On its face, that question might wrongly mark me as a Linux newbie, much like a Linux newcomer asking about antivirus and antimalware software. But I am far from being a newbie to Linux. That said, three program packages designed to clean out your Linux dustbins can keep your OS working like new.
This is my 1st time posting in the forum... I'm quite new to Linux.

I have been a linux user for about 1 1/2 years (currently Arch Linux) and I finally don't have to describe myself as a newbie. I have learned a great deal from this site, and I am very grateful. I started learning Linux when I decided to teach myself some programming, and I am now hooked for life.
I am a newbie to this forum and a newbie to Linux as well. My name is Marin and trying to figure out the operations of Linux. Probably this is the reason why i have joined this community. So hoping to learn a lot from here.

Hello I am a newbie w/ this forum and am still fairly new (AND GRATEFUL!!) w/ Linux. I am looking for some ideas for a self-regulated internet filter. Would like to be able to call a friend and say "Hey could you check up on me occasionally" and go from there. Any ideas?? thanks
This is likely my first question in this forum, so I apologize in advance if this is not the right place for it. I tried asking this question in the Linux Mint and AskUbuntu forums, but I had no luck at all, they didn't even try to help me, they just suggested that I should use this forum instead.
