7zip context menu appears twice

It looks like this:I've found 7zips readme.txt in /usr/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/ and this is one of the things in it:3) installing the context menu for KDE   (dolphin or konqueror)  (tested on Ubuntu 10.10) --------------------------------------------------   for all:   cp GUI/kde4/*.desktop /usr/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/these are the 7zip files in that are located in that folder at the moment:p7zip_compress2.desktopp7zip (HowTos)

7zips context menu appears twice to me when I right-click to a file.. Same thing happens in both dolphin and krusader.

I have installed Dolphin and Krusader to navigate faster than Nautilus. (I am happy with them, please do not advice another one) But, when I right click, I see a context menu with no icons. In normal Kubuntu OS (not Ubuntu), there are icons in right click menu. Could you help me how I could add this icons to context menu?

The concept of the right-click context menu has been around since forever but you don't have to be content with the defaults that come with your software, especially file managers. KDE's Dolphin and Konqueror are no exceptions.

Thanks for the link, unfortunately p7zip-extra didn't add anything to the context-menu. Will continue searching, since I liked the 7zip menu.

Is it possible to display a right-click menu using a shell script (or some kind of Unix command?) I'm trying to find a program that can be used to display a context menu at a specific location on the screen.

For example, it would be useful to display the desktop right-click context menu programmatically (the one that appears when right-clicking on a file.) This would require some method of launch

I am using a context menu for my textview.I made setCheckable() property as true for every menu items. When i click on first menu item it is checked but menu is disappearing. Is it possible to check more than one item in a context menu?

Dell m90 laptop with nVidia FX3500m video.

Installing 12.04 went fine, got default background image, but NOTHING ELSE, except right-click gives context menu, so I can set system parameters in the Apple-like GUI.

Got no top menu bar, and no task bar appears when I run cursor into any side or corner.

In Ubuntu 12.04, my mouse clicks when I release the button.

What happens (bad): I right click (mousedown), the context menu appears, when I release the mouse button (mouseup), the item under the cursor is clicked.

What should happen (good): I right click (mousedown), the context menu appears, nothing happens when I release the button.
