A new survey called the Internet & American Life Project, by the Pew Research Center, found that U.S. adults send or read text messages while driving just as much as do teenagers. Actually, 1% more adults text and drive than do teens--27% versus 26%.

I had some problem with creating the non-root user during installation of OpenSUSE 11.2 so i had to create the user my self. When logged into this account i can connect to my wireless account but i cannot access internet but as root i can access the internet.

I guess it must be some user management issue. But my knowledge is pretty limited in that area.

I just installed Fedora64 12 on my laptop. When I tried the Live CD all wen \t well. Now that I am running the full version I can only access internet pages linked to fedoraproject.org...?? not other pages work like google or yahoo or anything else.

i am about to follow a simple "how to" to install a web server on a linux machine with all the default settings(i.e no conf file is being edited (httpd.conf etc))......
here are a set of few questions i would like to know regarding such a web server:
(1) at which ip can i access this server on lan???

I have access to a server via ssh. I'm allowed to install things in my userspace. Furthermore, I'm allowed to use the bandwidth. I paid for access to this server, so they're pretty much ok with me doing things with my space. They told me not to store over 20 GBs of data, and I've kept to that rule.
