I want to to download some subtitle files, stored in rar files form http://subs.sab.bz/ The site provides rss feeds for its new releases. Unfortunately, the link provided will open a download page, but will not get the file.
The download page has a button in the middle, and clicking on it will trigger the download of the desired file.
Now when i tried to download Ubuntu for win7 installer, it gave me an iso with "amd64" in it, assuming that it's based on the processor, so i decided to check for any other downloads and found "i386", which i guess its for well, i3 processors, and decided to download it instead since i use i5, but the question is: What is the difference between those two ISOs?
The download has got stuck on the first file (ubuntu-12.10-wubi-amd64.tar.xz) and it won't continue.I have like 50 hours remaining time for my download to complete.Anyone knows what's wrong?
Edit: my internet connection works fine.i tried to download with firefox and chrome as well but still, nothing changed.
This is the senario , i need to download a 4GB of single file at one shot, means if any interuption occured in the middle of the download , the entire file will be removed automatically. unfortunately i'm not able to download that file since my modem is going off during the low voltage period.
I went to this website http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/gfortran-4.4 To download GFortran. It offers to download GFortran 4.4. Well, I go down the page and see i386 which is a label-link. I click it and expect the download come up. NO!!
