Well you're not installing xfce4 but only the xfce4-mixer and xfce4-settings (in order to use xfce4-settings-editor). Follow the steps precisely in order from this post. drlove601 wrote:Okay so the first thing to do is to install xfce4-mixer and xfce4-settings (in order to use xfce4-settings-editor).
@Inkane,Thanks for the tip! While I'm here I had no luck sorting out those slider fonts. Hardcoded do you think?@hsantanna,I noticed that when I enabled the mixer I had another sound device listed in Multimedia Settings.
I have 3 Behringer UCA-202 DACs going into a mixer. I want something similar to this setup:
1 DAC: Misc Audio to be mixed: output to go to the mixer.
1 DAC: Audio In: Record/Broadcast: input to come from the mixer.
1 DAC: Input to come from AUX send 1 on the mixer, and Output to go to the mixer on another channel.
Just want to see if anyone thinks this may be worth it. I have had a 12 channel Behringer rack mount mixer for about 5 years. Two of the channels have not really worked right from the start and I have been losing channels as time goes on. I am noticing a theme here though.
I need some help locating a problem within a DJ mixer. I recently posted in this forum regarding a problem with the same type of DJ mixer and was actually able to resolve the problem completely. I'm hoping for good luck again! The problem is different than the last but hopefully you guys can lead me in the correct direction of solving it.
