I'm not sure if this is in the correct section or not but I am having a very irritating and annoying issue with AT&T. I previously had a Moto Atrix 2 that ended up ****ting out on me due to faulty hardware (and then Moto wouldn't honor their warranty) so I bought the Sony Xperia ion since I have always liked Sony and their products.
I have a problem regarding the internal memory of my mobile phone. I get daily the message my internal memory is full. The storage distibution at Settings>Device>Storage is: i59.tinypic.com/209hdf5.png . Which doesnt makes sense. I dont know if the OS and other things are included in this picture.
When i connected my phone to my Windows PC it also shows the same.
I'm using Sony Xperia L (Non-Rooted, Stock OS) which shows me I have 1.52 GBs of Device Memory. "Apps and Media" are taking up 0.98 GB and ~240MB is remaining free. I don't understand where all that extra memory has gone to.
So what exactly is this Device Memory? I read that it's "the memory where Android installs Apps".
I Am using Sony Xperia ZR ( Not Rooted & Unlocked ) . I Am getting wierd issue with internal problem that in phone settings Internal Memory Shows Free upto 713 MB but When I Connect Phone To Pc It Shows Only 345MBw .
